I'm JR Keene. I've spent more than 20 years making business software actually work for the people using it.
It started in 2005 on the customer support line at Infusionsoft, the company now known as Keap. I moved into systems analysis, product management, and QA, helped launch their partner program, and wrote the curriculum used to certify consultants. In 2010 I started Vital Consulting to do the work myself, hands on, for small businesses.
Since then I've been a CTO, a CIO, and a solutions engineer at Keap and Thryv, where I led automation pilots for national home-service franchise brands. Today I build CRMs, automations, websites, and AI systems from the Tampa Bay area, and I built MyVitalAssistant myself.
I've always been wired to solve problems. When something isn't working, I need to know why, and I can't stop until it's better. I also do something most consultants don't: I build it before I pitch it. Watching someone see their business working the way they always pictured it, for the very first time, is the reason I do this.
I see the bigger picture: how your CRM, your marketing, your team, and your customers all fit together. And I care about the people behind the business, because a business that runs well gives you back time for the things that matter most. For me that's faith, family, and the freedom to go have an adventure.
That's what this trip is. Two days to give you that moment in your own business, and the freedom that comes with it.
